Profile & account
TaDone keeps two separate layers of “you”:
- Your profile — how you appear inside one family (this changes only that family).
- Your account — your login, shared across every family you belong to.
Your in-family profile
Section titled “Your in-family profile”Settings → Profile edits your profile within the current family. Changes here stay in this family.
The in-family profile: title, display name, read-only email and an avatar picker.
- Adults edit their title, display name and avatar colour. Email is shown but can’t be changed here.
- Children get an avatar-colour bubble, display name and birthdate (used to tailor the child experience).
Your profile saves automatically after a valid change. Pick a new avatar colour and the app chrome recolours live.
Profile fields
Section titled “Profile fields”- Title (adults) — the honorific shown with your name. Required for adults.
- Avatar colour — the colour behind your avatar. Optional; members without a photo show their initials on this colour.
- Name — your display name in this family. Required; at least 2 characters.
- Email (adults) — shown here but read-only. Change it from your account, not your profile.
- Birthdate (children) — required; used to tailor the child experience.
Your account
Section titled “Your account”The Account page is your login layer, reachable from your profile menu and independent of any single family.
Account settings: title, name, interface language and the delete-account Danger Zone.

Edit your title, name, or interface language (English or Português (Portugal)). Your email is read-only.

Tap Save.
Account fields
Section titled “Account fields”- Title — an optional honorific shown with your name.
- Name — your account display name. Required.
- Email — your login email. Read-only here.
- Interface language — the app’s language: English or Português (Portugal). Changing it re-languages the interface.
Sign out
Section titled “Sign out”Open your profile menu (your avatar, top-right of the app) and choose Sign out. You can sign back in at any time with the same account.
