Rewards

Rewards are what children spend their earned points on. You define the rewards your family offers, and children redeem them by trading points.

You’ll find them under the Rewards tab in the bottom navigation.

The one idea to remember

There are two separate steps, and only one of them moves points:

• Defining a reward creates it in the catalog (its name, cost, icon and who it applies to). On its own it doesn’t touch anyone’s balance.
• Redeeming a reward spends a child’s points on it, deducting them and recording the redemption.

Reward types

Every reward has a type that decides how its cost is calculated:

• Single use — a one-off treat with a flat point cost.
• Time-based — costs points per minute (for example, screen time). You can redeem it manually or run a live timer.
• Money-based — costs points per euro, using either a custom rate or your family-wide money value.

The rewards catalog

The catalog groups your rewards by type and shows a strip of recent redemptions on top. Each card shows the reward’s emoji icon, name, its per-unit rule and its point cost. When your family has more than one child, a card also shows the avatars of the members it applies to.

From here you can:

1. Redeem a reward — tap its card to open the redeem flow and spend points.

2. Add a new reward with the + button next to the page title.

3. Edit or delete a reward from a card’s ⋯ (overflow) menu.

Who can do what

Adding, editing and deleting rewards are for parents and other tutors — those controls are hidden for children. If no members are selected in the header, or your family hasn’t created any rewards yet, the catalog shows a friendly empty state instead.
